Grace

for the last two or three weeks but not on the book,hehehe...I've been extremely exposed by the book of "future grace" by John Piper and daily devotional by Joseph Prince that's focusing on grace.
its not just a coincidence that I picked out the book out of my other books and found the online daily devotion that's heavily focused on "grace".

Ever since i read those two, i have learned so much.. its been a blessing..it reminds me again for not being constantly anxious and worry about life..He even cares for the flower *dont remember the name* that can live only for a day..so, wouldn't God cares more about you? its such a great reminder..

then, me being impatience...oooo...this is definitely a very hard thing to do...but it's also under the category of doubting future grace..n for the last two weeks...I've been fighting against impatience..n it ain't fun at all...its very tempting for me not to take the initiative. Only by God's grace, i can survive and totally surrender into God's plan. I believe that everything has its own perfect timing..so i'm really looking forward to it...

I also learned that often times i regret things and wished i haven't said or done it..but, there's nothing i can change..its already been said and done..i should see it as an opportunity to grow ...i was reminded that if God is for us, then who can be against us..
we don't earn grace...Grace is given by God...

I'm very thankful how God prepares me for my next journey...Thank you Lord for you are a loving,gracious and faithful God.

things happened

Hi all....

its been a very long time since i updated my blog. actually, I'm not a writing kind of a person. Plus, my mood has been fluctuated lately. things happened...good things..bad things...but, I know that I have learn a lot in these last few weeks.

I've been praying for a new business opportunity and finally i can see an opened door..but still a long way to go..but, it's definitely boost up my excitement not giving up on these..so excited...but, still have to find few other investors. I believe that God will provide starting from the investors to the little things...It's definitely only by God's grace if I can accomplish everything and do a great job. arrrggghhh...cant wait...bring it on :)
keep on praying for me yach friends...I really do need it..Thank you..

Good Food + Good companion = AWESOME

I just had a potluck yesterday with my bible study's group at Vera's place...
We had so many good food..starting from Pasta to bakwan jagung to kuo tie...slurrppp...the food is totally fantastic...
I really enjoy the togetherness :)

We started out with lunch and then watch "the tourist" and then went back to vera's place for dinner...we had so many foods so even tough its just a leftover food from lunch, we still cant finish it.....hahahahaha...

New recipeeeee....yeaayyy !!!

Very excited and already have in mind about the decoration for the cake...

weigh the sugar, melt the butter, etc etc....mix my batter...hmmm...turn out very simple...almost done...and all of the sudden...my mixer started to make a weird sound...n make a little splash...splash here..splash there...arrrggghhhh...okay...take a deep breath...exhale...talk to myself not to worry..okayy....finally done with the batter mix...

Next step...
prepare the pan...put the pan into the other pan...n woaaallaaa...the pan is "bolong" and definitely ruin the crust.....arrggghhhh...this cant be happening....heelllppp :(....
okay...take another deep breath and exhale...find a solution and hopefully it works out just fine...now, its time to put it into the oven...Thank God !

but, just when i think everything is okay now.... I check the oven and turn out the oven is off...perhaps its been off for like 5 mins long..aaarrrggggghhhhhhhh !!!!! hate it sooo muchhhh !!!

Okay..try to think positive...unfortunetely (spelling error), after a long long tragedy....the cake is a complete disaster... hix hix hix...
but, as its always said...never give up..keep on trying... !!! Thank God it's only one of my many experiments..

Tried to find a nice tiramisu here in Jakarta eversince I got back from the US...but couldn't find any..so, instead of search for it..why dont i just make one...
Now, i cant stop making it and eating it...esp for those coffee lover...you can eat the tiramisu with a cup of coffee as the company..I cant do that...I cant stand the coffee as in a drink..
but, I wish I can drink coffee..what a perfect combination....not to mention..the cold weather... :)

Family trip

Fabulous trip with my family except Mami Keisha..she's 7 months pregnant...so, cant join this family trip... :(


Arrived at HK after a good nite sleeat the airplane and met with my lil sis at the HK airport... cant wait to enjoy the culinary there..
we started our trip with a big breakfast at Jade Restaurant...enjoy ci cong fan and mango sagoo...slurrrpppp...




A very interesting sack of cans on the street...who on earth make this beautiful packaging arrangement ?? perhaps we can adapt it here in Indonesia.. :)





I like the peak sooo muchhh...it gives you a nice view of HK. I wish I can stay there :) we're taking the tram...my mom got a bit scared when its going backward...hihihihi.. :)




We also went to macau....not so much to see but enjoy the "jajanan" there...falling in love with the egg tart and the fish ball with the curry dipping sauce....two thumbs up !!!
love the hotel so much...wish can stay at the hotel a little longer...




At the end....Thank God for the nice trip and perfect weather..cant wait for another family trip...
